A Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on "Developing Basic Competencies in Laboratory Management" was conducted for technical supporting staff at Govt. College of Engineering and Research, Avasari(kh), during 9th Jan 2017 to 13th Jan 2017, under the auspices od State Project Facilitation Unit, TEQIP Phase-II. A Grant of Rs.- 200000/- was sanction by Director of Technical Education (State Project Advisor, TEQIP Phase-II), Maharashtra State, Mumbai, for this programme. The programme was jointly organized by Mechanical Engg. Dept. & E & TC Engg. Dept. of the institute. Prof. S. V. Joshi, Professor & Head Mechanical Engg. Dept. worked as Coordinator for this programme. Dr. S. V. Karmare, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engg.(CAS) and Shri. A. S. Mane Asst. Professor of Elelctrical Engg. worked as co-cordinators. Programme scheduled is attached herewith.

The programme focused on delivering basic administrative / motivational inputs as wellas interactive laboratory sessions in all departments in this institute, and was a huge success. In all 96 participants from Govt./Unaided/Autonomous institute across Maharashtra State, Inclusive of 15 technical Suporting staff memebers of this institute were benefited by this STTP
